We are pleased to announce that its Sail OLED pendant has been recognized with a GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Award at the 12th annual gala.
Recognized by the jury in the Industrial Design (Lighting) category, Sail’s award is among many exciting projects showcasing the talent of Quebec designers and architects in the fields of commercial, institutional and contract projects and product design. GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN winners and their projects are celebrated at the annual gala, which this year was held on January 10, at the Montreal Casino.
Sail features state-of-the-art OLED technology that is less than 1mm thickness. The ultra-thin OLED module is packaged in a contemporary folded metal structure and delivers a natural and glare-fee illumination. It is available in 3000K or 4000K color temperatures with a black or white finish.
Judges commented on the unique shape of the pendant, which they described as a perfect blend of geometric and natural shapes.
“We thrive to integrate the newest technology in our designs,” said Francois Renaud, Director of Design for Eureka. “It is an honor that Sail has won this award, and we will continue to push the boundaries to develop innovative lighting.”
Sail had previously been recognized with a PIA (Product Innovation Award) from Architectural SSL magazine. Find out more about Sail here. Find out more about GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN here.
