Eureka Wins Two LIT Design Awards™

Eureka, an established leader in decorative lighting solutions, is pleased to announce that its Tangram-Trace and Tangram-Cut luminaires have each received LIT Design Awards™.

The LIT Design Awards was created to recognize the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers. All entries are evaluated by an esteemed grand jury panel of experienced and prominent academics, professionals, press members, entrepreneurs, and key people from the lighting design industry. Tangram-Trace was recognized in the Linear Lighting Systems category, while Tangram-Cut was recognized in the Decorative Accent Lamp category.

Using bold straps and a prismatic lens, Tangram-Trace creates a dramatic aesthetic and provides high quality diffused linear illumination. It is intended for modern environments such as conference and executive areas, hospitality applications, or reception spaces. Tangram-Trace luminaires are suspended using four-inch-wide straps which empower designers to invent their own visual language. Available in 2’, 4’, and 6’ lengths, the luminaire can be configured into 12 pre-set shapes. Or designers can work with the Eureka team to create custom designs. The 4” linear prismatic lens with an ultra-thin aluminum casing delivers diffused light down to the space below.

Tangram-Cut is also defined by bold its four-inch-wide straps, which can be configured into a variety of geometries using spacers that pull in our push out the straps to create striking shapes. Precision machining from a block of solid glass gives the Tangram-Cut pendant its striking, jewel-like feel. Internal frosting and a distinctive concave bottom help to diffuse light from the 8-inch diameter luminaire. The unique aesthetic is suited to luxurious environments such as high-end hospitality settings.
