Eureka has announced that it won two LIT Awards. The Arena luminaire won in the Chandeliers/Pendant Lighting category and Echo was recognized in the OLEDs category.
The 2019 edition of the LIT Design Awards received hundreds of submissions by lighting firms, emerging designers and students from all around the globe, competing for "LIT Lighting Product Design of the Year" & "LIT Lighting Designer of the Year". These two prestigious titles as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award celebrate the creativity and innovation in the fields of lighting products and application.
Arena is a circular luminaire that combines a classic form with the ability to reconfigure light sources by attaching them magnetically. Arena’s innovative magnetic ring enables users to snap on or snap off light sources at will. Each light source is equipped with strong neodymium magnets that form a safe, low voltage connection to the Arena ring. Users can move, spread evenly, gang, flip up or down, pivot, or aim light sources without tools or an electrician. Arena has won multiple awards and was included in the IES Progress Report 2019.
Echo utilizes advanced OLED technology as a light source to produce a comfortable, high quality light in a slim, low profile package. Perfect for subtle accenting of spaces such as reception desks or lounge areas, Echo is designed to increase ambient light levels in an unobtrusive way. With its ultra thin OLED technology and slender shade profile, Echo provides a glare-free accent light in a minimalist modern package less than 2 inches high.
