Eureka Wins Three GOOD DESIGN® Awards

Atoll, Elke, and Marro recognized by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design

Montreal, January 10, 2025 – Eureka, an established leader in decorative lighting solutions, is pleased to announce that its Atoll, Elke, and Marro luminaires have each won a GOOD DESIGN® Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

GOOD DESIGN was founded in Chicago in 1950 and remains the oldest and most recognized program for design excellence worldwide. The Chicago Athenaeum presents the GOOD DESIGN Awards Program to honor the yearly achievements of the best industrial and graphic designs and world manufacturers for their pursuit of extraordinary design excellence. The emphasis of the GOOD DESIGN program is design and manufacturing that has chartered new directions for innovation and pushed the envelope for competitive products in the world marketplace. Atoll, Elke, and Marro were all recognized in the Lighting category.

Marro and Elke pendants feature rich colors, large-scale formats, and simple shapes, all with acoustic properties. The trio's aesthetics were inspired by the Color Field painting movement of the 1950s, where artists experimented with the power of color in large areas.

Atoll is an elegant, minimalist ring luminaire offering direct light and optional batwing uplight. In pendant or surface/ceiling mount, the rings feature high-quality construction with sleek aluminum extrusion.

All award-winning products are published in the GOOD DESIGN Yearbook for 2024-2025. Winners will also be celebrated in April at the 2024 GOOD DESIGN Show in Athens, Greece.
